Technical Specifications

  •  Current versions are based on ASCE 7-16 and 7-10.
  • Adjustments for Mean Sea Level, Importance Factor, topography, and Exposure Category are made automatically.
  • External & internal pressure coefficients and gust factors (including flexible structures) are computed by the program.
  • Where applicable, the frontal area of the structure can be input and the program will integrate the pressures over the frontal area to determine forces, shears, and overturning moments.
  • Revised tables of Chapter 30, Part 1 and Part 2 (Components and Cladding) are now included in the software.
  • New wind maps for Risk Category IV are included.
  • Reports/output can be output directly to Word Excel and PDF formats.
  • Computations are listed for each step allowing for easy verification and your “peace of mind.” The new interface works like a Wizard – guiding you through the input process.
  • Units are US customary units.
  • Includes External Pressure Coefficients and Design Wind Pressures for new zones (1′, 2e, 2n, 2r, 3e, 3r) for Gable and Hip Roofs – Components and Cladding.
  • New wind maps are now available including for Hawaiian Islands.
  • Relevant Figures and Table images taken directly from the ASCE 7-16 standard are integrated and displayed for reference.
